My Day in Haiku

Awake too early
Need to drink tea and eat oats
To gain alertness.

Share really means MINE
To a one-year-old if so
Inclined to take toys.

Oh the joy of quiet
During naptime keeps me
Sane for house cleaning.

Rain pours as we load
Groceries in the car to Clara’s delight,
But sun breaks at home.

“Noodles, noodles!” is
Yelled for half an hour before
Dinner is eaten.

Spend time with the hubby.
What do we end up doing?
Watching some TV.

Welcome to parenthood. It gets better. After a while (ok, a long time)you’ll wonder how you ever lived without being a parent.

Of course, if you’ve watch the movie “The Shawshank Redemption” you know that prisoners get to where they can’t live without being in prison. But that’s another subject.
